SVM-X56 4G modem
Modems are deployed in the industry to connect local technical systems with a central process computer. This process computer operates and reads out those local processes. The SVM-X56 4G modem provides access to your Priva system via internet; proven reliable and employable anywhere in the world. Only one easy configuration change to your Priva operating and engineering software and the connection can be initiated using 'Steady Connect' for an extremely stable connection.
It is now possible to establish a connection with your Priva building management system via mobile or fixed internet using the same modem. When you use an Ethernet connection, the familiar functionalities remain available and you are not confronted with additional subscription charges. If an Ethernet connection is not possible or desirable, you can make use of the wireless 4G network.

LTE-M: 4G for Machine-2-Machine
This SVM-X56 4G uses the LTE-M (in full: LTE Cat-M1) band of the 4G network especially for Internet of Things (IoT) applications. In comparison with other solutions, LTE-M has a number of strong advantages:
- Very good coverage including in buildings
- Supports texting by SMS
- High bandwidth for sending and receiving data
- Limited delay between sending and receiving data (latency)
Select the right SIM with fixed IP
Selecting the right SIM is very important to ensure that our equipment operates correctly and safely. A non-activated SIM card from Wireless Logic Benelux (SIMPoint) is supplied by delivery. Wireless Logic Benelux (SIMPoint) is specialized in M2M applications and their SIM card has proven successfully:
- 4G connection with different SMS bundles
- Device automatically switches to 2G in case of failure of the 4G network
- Easy online activation without having to search for a suitable LTE Cat-M1 provider
It is up to you whether you use this SIM card. When you activate the sim, you enter into a provider agreement for at least one year with Wireless Logic Benelux (and not with Adésys). If you want to receive alerts via text messages, we recommend to add an SMS bundle to your subscription. For an overview of the costs, please refer to the "Quickstart activation SIM card" (see "downloads" on this page).
If you do not use the supplied SIM card, select a 4G SIM of a provider that supports the LTE Cat-M1 band. Otherwise you could use a 2G SIM card.
Plug & Play: configuration easily arranged
We want to make the installation process as simple as possible so your can reach you goal quickly: access to your Priva installation via fixed or mobile internet. Plug & Play solutions have therefore been developed for the SVM-X56 4G for every device. This simplicity saves you a lot of time and money. Use the free configuration files for this (see service/downloads).
You can easily adjust other settings of the SVM-X56 4G with a PC or laptop. Use the free SV-prog software for this (see service/downloads). SV-prog gives you a clear overview of the configuration options.
