Do you still monitor your processes with an Modalarm-T?
This dialler is maybe more than 15 years old and no longer guarantees a reliable alarm notification. Electronics are aging, the risk of failure increases and it is impossible to predict when the detector will fail. Waiting for this to happen will lead to a situation in which you will be temporarily without alarm and risk financial and emotional damage. That is of course not an option!
What are the risks of old diallers?
In addition, Dutch telecom providers have already announced that in April 2025 the 2G network will be phased off. No official phasing off data has yet been released by UK providers such as BT, Vodafone, EE (BT), O2 and Three. According to news sources, a phase-off period from June 2023 to 2025 is mentioned. We recommend you to contact your provider for clarity in your 2G delivery guarantee.
After the 2G network has been disconnected, The Modalarm-T will only work via an analogue line. Our Sales department is happy to advise you on choosing the right product. Then you will once again be able to raise the alarm safely and reliably via today's (much changed) digital telephone networks.

What was the Modalarm-T again
The Modalarm-T is a versatile alarm / modem combination. There are 2 or 8 contact inputs available for reporting malfunctions from your application. Reporting takes place through a spoken message or a text message to a pager or GSM telephone (SMS) or reporting center. The RS232 port makes it possible to forward variable alarm texts from a PLC or PC to a pager or mobile phone (SMS).
