Wageningen University & Research (WUR) receives the first Octalarm-Touch

On Monday, May 13, Marc Kooistra from Adésys (left on photo) delivered the first Octalarm-Touch personally to Ben Kaashoek, Operational Engineer of Wageningen University & Research (WUR) in Bleiswijk (right on photo). The WUR placed a pre-order as early as January this year, making it the first end customer with interest in the new alarm device for critical technical processes.

The Octalarm-Touch is linked to the various climate computers on the site, including for monitoring the technical processes in the 'Greenhouse2030: Sustainable cultivation with a future'.

Ready for first delivery Octalarm-Touch

Today the first boxes are actually leaving! After all testing and taking into production of this new alarm detector for monitoring critical technical processes, the new Octalarm-Touch will be used by our customers as of today.

Delivery is in the order of receipt pre-orders.

SV-line from 3G to 4G

From January 2020, various telecom companies such as Vodafone and T-Mobile will start switching off the 3G network. KPN will follow in 2022. There are no concrete agreements yet about when this will be phased out completely. The entire process is expected to last until 2025.
